The check sizes in the US are a lot larger than in the UK because they believe in the full vision and journey of the startup! 💵 It’s a cycle that needs to be broken if we are to see real change in scaling startups. Matt Johnson you hit the nail on the head, startups chase small raises to fund their next commercial project to then have to chase raising again to fund the next. Your closing speech brought a tear to my eye and I know so many others felt the same in that room too! You believed in me and an idea before anyone else did.
